Indonesian mining company PT Adhi Kartiko Pratama aims to produce as much as 2.5m tonnes of nickel ore by 2023, up 40 per cent from a year earlier.
Ense da Cunha Solapung, PT AKP's principal director, explained on Nov. 26 that the increased 2023 production target is linked to improved resources to ensure AKP's nickel reserves increase to 25 million tons, and the mine age also increases to 10 years from the previous estimate of 9 years.

And the company's new management structure also appeared adjustment. The company used to have seven divisions, but now it has ten. The increase is aimed at improving the operational efficiency of the company operating in Langgikima Lameruru village, North Conaway, south-eastern Sulawesi.
The 10 units are led by Summit and GM Operation Site, Ense added.
