At 4 PM on March 19, the first batch of 190 tons of nickel-copper concentrate from Xihamu, Qinghai Province arrived in Jinchuan after long-distance transportation. So far, more than 1300 kilometers away from China's largest nickel mine and the second largest nickel mine to achieve a real sense of linkage production.


Xialihamu nickel-cobalt mine is located in the southern margin of Qaidam Basin. It is the largest nickel-cobalt sulfide deposit discovered in the world in the past 20 years, and its reserves rank the second in China. It is jointly developed by Yellow River Hydropower Company of the State Power Investment Corporation and Jinchuan Group, and its nickel concentrate is exclusively sold by Jinchuan Group.
